Imphal, June 23 2014: A counselling session for teachers who would take part in a remedial coaching for educationally backward minorities was held today at Classic Hotel.

The coaching programme is being organised by the Minorities and OBC Economic Development Society (MOBEDS) under the sponsorship of MOBC Department.

MOBEDS project director Md Salauddin Khan and project coordinator Md Alam Azad were seated on the dais during the meeting where selected teachers and coordinators were also present.

The coaching class would be conducted at 12 centres for students reading between classes VI and X.Coaching for students of classes XI and XII would be done in five centres.

A total of 108 teachers have been already selected for the coaching programme.
