Bishnupur, October 22 2021: District Disability Rehabilitation Centre (DDRC) Bishnupur on Friday organised a 'UDLD (Unique Disability ID) Registration camp' at Ithai Wapokpi Mamang Community Hall in Kumbi AC.

About 40 differently able persons of Ithai Wapokpi registered during the camp.

Moreover, a 'Free hearing check-up camp' was also conducted as part of the registration camp, wherein about 70 persons were given free check-up.

Speaking to media persons, Romesh Chongtham, Nodal Officer DDRC Bishnupur, stated that the camp was organised to facilitate the differently able persons who facing difficulties in travelling to register for UDID while adding that registered candidates could avail the benefits of various schemes provided by the Government.

He informed that similar facilities have also been provided at DDRC Office in Bishnupur Mini Secretariat and urged the people to come forward for the UDID registration.

The camp was participated by staff of DDRC Bishnupur led by Romesh Chongtham.
