Chandel, November 21 2019:
Reiterating the demands of the COCOMI (Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity) for State's integrity, Meira Paibis and members of various club organisations blocked the road and staged alert meeting at Pallel today.
The alert meeting was organised by local clubs and organisations including YVA, YDO, SDO, CHINA Lup (Chingtam) and PALEM under the aegis of COCOMI.
The Meira Paibis at the meeting reiterated that they welcome amicable solution to the Naga peace talk provided it doesn't affect the State's integrity and interest.

Speaking at the event, AMUCO president and COCOMI assistant co-ordinator, Ph Nando Luwang raised apprehension that the secretive agreement reached between the NSCN-IM and the Government of India on October 31 possibly contains some matters that would have serious effect on the State's interest.
As the agreement has not been disclosed by the parties involved in the talks, people of the State must remain vigilant and thwart any attempt to infringe upon the State's interest and integrity, he said.
The Government of India should hear the plight of the people of the State, he added.
The Meira Paibis and the locals raised several slogans for peace and integrity.
