Imphal, May 20 2021: Under the aegis of the Directorate of Health Services and National Health Mission, Keishamthong Kendra Covid Committee launched a Covid vaccination drive, today.

At the launch function which was held at Pishumthong Ningom Leikai Community, MLA L Jayentakumar who is the chairperson of the organising committee said that the vaccination programme will cover people of Ward no 9, 11, 12 and 13 of IMC.

Saying that people above 45 years will be vaccinated first, the MLA added that the drive will also cover people between 18 to 44 years.

On the other hand, State president of Apna Dal (Sonelal), K Manoranjan distributed edibles to 65 households in Haobam Marak Keisham Leikai and Mongshangei Mayai Leikai under Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC whose territories have been declared as containment areas.

The intending candidate of the upcoming Assembly election from Lilong AC, Md Anwar Hussain also provided Covid relief package to households in containment zones.
