Imphal, February 20 2021: Maphou Dam Ching Tam Youth Club Association (MDCTYCA) has urged the State Government and authority concerned to start repairing the road stretch from Napet Pali to Maphou Dam, popularly known as Maphou Dam road, on or before December 23.Speaking to media persons during a press meet held at Manipur Press Club, today, MDCTYCA secretary ,Kshetrimayum Arun Singh said that the association will launch agitation from the following day (February 24) if the Government didn't give any positive response within the stipulated time.

Despite giving assurance on numerous occasions, the Government is yet to repair the road, he said and asked if the Government is toying with people's sentiment.

This pathetic condition of the road stretch has caused untold convenience to the commuters, he said and condemned the Government for not understanding the plight of the people.
