TMC not to go into prepoll alliance

The Trinamool Congress has made it clear that the party will not go for prepoll alliance with any party in the forthcoming Assembly elections and the party is also all set to bring out their own candidates in all the 60 constituencies of the state, stated Mokul Roy, National General Secretary of Trinamool Congress.
Addressing media persons at a press conference held at Imphal hotel today, Mokul Roy said that the Trinamool Congress will come to power and form the government in the next term, even though it has only one MLA at present.
The people of the state have clearly shown that it is against the Congress in the last by election of the Konthoujam Assembly Costituency.
The party has full faith in the people of the state that it will certainly stand by the side of Trinamool Congress in the coming election as well.
He said that the people of the state are suffering as a result of the misgovernance of the SPF government.
The Trinamool Congress will work for the betterment of the people and take up every possible development programme in the state.
There will be a huge change in the political scenario of the state then.
He also said that there will not be any economic blockade in the state if the party comes to power.
The part will also take up the issue of "Supra State Body" in the winter session of the Parliament.
The press conference was also attended by KD Singh, MP North east in- charge, Kim Gangte, President of Trinamool Congress Manipur Pradesh, one and only MLA of the Party, Konthoujam Sarat, office bearers and intending candidates and districts Presidents of the Party.
After the conference a public meeting was also held at Yumnam Leikai Lairemba Lampak.
