Imphal, October 19 2019: A 3 day festival of literature dance and music jointly organised by Writer's Forum Imphal (WFI) and North Eastern Council, Ministry of DoNER began today at the auditorium of Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy, Imphal.

Eminent film maker, Aribam Syam Sharma; eminent poet and former Director (IPR), NEC, Manas Ranjan Mahapatra; renowned critics and Professor of English, Gauhati University, Dr Bibhas Choudhary and president of WFI, Keisham Priyokumar attended the inaugural programme as the presidium members.

During the function, few books namely "Tharoshangbi", "Bhut Amasung Maikhum", "Shambal Amasung Atoppa Warengshing" and "Sana Kokchao Amasung Marup Thengu" were released by the dignitaries while film actress RK Hemabati recited a poem titled "Loktak Mapanda" .
