Senapati, June 19 2020: NSCN-K has responded to Naga People Organisation regarding a bomb blast case which occurred on June 13 at a water supply scheme site at Karong, Senapati.

NSCN-K Kilonser, (Finance, Manipur in-charge), S Hriipunii Vemaiin in a statement said that the outfit was compelled to take the action in connection with a 'taxation' issue involving the agency which has been implementing augmentation work of the water supply scheme.

The outfit maintained that the negotiation between the outfit and the implementing agency was interrupted by "corrupted and irresponsible and self-centric leaders who never approached the outfit" .

The matter was settled between the implementing agency (company) and the so-called leaders without the knowledge of the outfit, it continued.

"Tagging us anti-people is unacceptable", said the outfit while directing the so-called leaders to apologize.

The outfit will not remain a mute spectator in case the leaders fail to apologize, it continued.
