Imphal, September 18 2024: The Manipur Urban Development Agency (MUDA) is organising a State Level Painting Competition in association with The Arts Society, Manipur on September 29, 2024 at City Convention Centre, Imphal from 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm.

The competition is being organised as part of Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2024 on the theme, "Swabhav Swachhata, Sanskaar Swachhata (Cleanliness as Nature - Cleanliness as Culture" .

In a release, MUDA informed that the competition will be held in 3 categories- A for Class III to Class V, B for Class VI to Class IX and C for Class X to Class XII.

Cash prizes of Rs 5000, Rs 3000 and Rs 2000 will be awarded to the top three winners of each category.

Consolation prize of Rs 1000 will also be awarded.

The registration form of students may be collected from The Arts Society, Manipur at Wangkhei Ningthem Pukhri Mapal, Lane No 4, Imphal East.

The last date for submission of forms is September 27, 2024 .

Moreover, the 13th RKCS Memorial Painting Competition will be held at RKCS Art Gallery, Keishamthong on October 6, 2024 at 9.30 am.

In a release, RKCS' Birth Centenary Celebration Committee informed that competition will be conducted in 2 categories- A for Class in to Class VI and B for Class VII to Class X.Prizes will be distributed to the winners during the 100th birth anniversary celebration of RK Chandrajitsana Singh, popularly known as RKCS, scheduled to be held on October 13,2024 .
