FESOK seeks public support to improve education system on 3rd foundation day

The 3rd foundation day of Federal Students' Organisation Kangleipak (FESOK) was observed today at JN Dance Academy Auditorium Hall under the theme "Knowledge forchange".
The event was graced by Professor Chinglen Maisnam, Head of Department of South East Asian Studies (SEAS), Manipur University; Professor Th Rabikanta, Dean, Students' Welfare, DMU; Dr Arambam Noni, Associate Professor, Department of Political Science, DMU and Kangujam Amarjit, president, FESOK as the presidium members.
Addressing the gathering, Professor Chinglen Maisnam highlighted the need to protect the indigenous communities, the dangers of drug menace in the society and the importance of attaining self-reliance in food production.
Stressing on the restive situation across the globe, he called for unity among people and the need for a social transformation in Manipur.
He added that FESOK can also learn many valuable lessons from the public.
Meanwhile, Kangujam Amarjit extended best wishes to the people of Manipur on the 3rd foundation day of FESOK.
He said that FESOK was formed mainly for the progress of students.
In the last three years, FESOK has been at the forefront of students' and social issues.
Stating that everyone is obligated to contribute in the creation of a better society with the development of the education system in Manipur, he sought public support to help FESOK better perform its duties.
