MDS course at RIMS Dental College soon : Prof Santa

Imphal, July 17 2022: Professor A Santa Singh, Director of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) has announced that MDS course will be inducted at RIMS Dental College soon.

He made the announcement at the inaugural function of two newly constructed hostel messes at PG Ladies Hostel (Kundolei Hostel) and Ladies Hostel No 3 and 4 (Kusumlei Hostel) today.

A press release by the media advisor, RIMS said that during the inauguration, the Director stated that the newly constructed mess will provide better services for the medical, dental and nursing students.

A CCTV surveillance facility has also been installed for the first time at the hostel for safety of the students, he added.

He further stated that a five storey building for girls and boys is under construction and will be completed soon and plans are underway to construct two storey buildings with a massive capacity of 200 students accommodation by next year.

Basketball courts will come up at Kusumlei Hostel and Bishnupur RHTC within a short period of time and a new gym building for the students will be inaugurated soon in which a separate floor will be reserved as a reading room, he added.

Professor N Sanjib Singh, Medical Superintendent, RIMS Hospital encouraged the students to develop team spirit and work collectively.
