Student bodies condemn

Thoubal, January 17 2017: Kangleipak Students' Associa tion (KSA), All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) and Democratic Students' Alliance (DESAM), Thoubal district units have strongly condemned the alleged attempt to demolish KSA Thoubal District Council office by family members of RUDA Academy founder today.

In a joint statement, KSA, AMSU and DESAM, Thoubal district, said family members of RUDA Academy founder attempted to demolish the office building of KSA, Thoubal district.

Also, the son of founder E Romio verbally threatened the student bodies.

It may be mentioned that a joint meeting of the student bodies and officials of RUDA Academy including the founder, his son and the boarding warden was held at the KSA office at 6 pm today.

Family members of the founder allegedly ganged up a mob and attempted to demolish KSA office.

Strongly condemning the alleged attack and verbal threats by E Romio and his family, the student bodies have urged the Child Welfare Committee and the State Government to look into matter at the earliest.

It has also demanded the State Government to produce the true reports of the incident by January 21 .
