Imphal, June 16 2021: Two members of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) have offered prayers to the shrine of Ema Leimarel Sidabi and Lainigthou Sanamahi at Haying Khongbal Uphong Yumpham, Imphal, yesterday in the presence of titular king Leishemba Sanajaoba, who is the Lok Sabha MP.

The two RSS leaders - Sunil Deshpande, All India PRO of RSS and Pracharak Pramukh Asokan of Assam Zone also assured that they will join this year's Mera Houchongba event, which falls on October 20 .

Encouraging the priests, priestesses, pena singers and members of Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board (LSTB), the two RSS leaders also extended financial assistance to the board.

LSTB applauded the two leaders for visiting Imphal and extending help to the board.

It is said that vice chairman of MFICL, K Sarat and renowned artiste Sougrakpam Hemant accompanied the two RSS leaders.
