First ever satellite classroom launched at Mt Zion College

The first ever Satellite classroom was launched and inaugurated at Mt Zion College, Kathikho Karong on Saturday.
The event was inaugurated by Adv Shiju Augustine, Managing Director, All India Private Schools Association in the presence of Dr Sona Sekhar, Managing Director, Digitalstudents.in.
The event was supported by the All India Private Schools Association (AIPSA), New Delhi.
A satellite classroom is an educational setup where students participate in classes remotely through live or prerecorded video transmissions.
This model enables students to access high-quality educational content and instruction from experts, even if they are not physically present in the same location.
Students can participate in classes from anywhere, reducing geographical barriers.
Classes can be conducted in real-time or through prerecorded videos.
Students can engage with instructors and peers through live chats, polls, and Question & Answer sessions.
Course materials, such as videos, images, and documents, are shared digitally.
Talking about the benefits of the facility, Satellite classrooms reach students in remote or underserved areas and can attend classes at their convenience, allowing for better time management.
It reduces the need for physical infrastructure and transportation.
Students can learn at their own pace and review course materials as needed.
A simple inauguration program was held at Mt.
Zion College, Kathikho Karong.
An interaction session of the working of the facility was taken up during the launching program.
Different school Principals from Senapati district and beyond attended the launching program.
