Imphal, November 15 2015: The Thongam Ibohal Singh and Thongam Ongbi Ibecha (Amubi) Devi Memorial Cycle Award for Poor and Meritorious Students, donated by Lion Thongam Shanti Singh, have been distributed at a function held at INA hall, Moirang today.

Parliamentary Secretary (YAS and Tourism) M Prithviraj, Region XI chairperson M Swarupini Devi and Region XI Zone XXII chairman Kh Ibomcha graced the function as chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.

The function was organised by Lions and Lioness Club of Moirang, Lions Clubs International District 322 D .

The awards were given to the meritorious Class VI to IX and Class XI students belonging to BPL and AAY families.

All the students were from Government recognised private and Government schools.

A bicycle each was given to all the award winners.
