KBC Mission Conference kicks off at Kangpokpi

Kangpokpi, November 14 2019: Believed to be one of the biggest ever conference within the Kuki Baptist Convention across the Nation, the Mission Conference 2019 organized by Mission Board, Kuki Baptist Convention (KBC) start in on an impressive note this afternoon at Kangpokpi DHQs.

Based on Acts 16:9, "Come over and help us' as its theme, the inaugural flag hoisting was conducted at the conference avenue, Kanggui Christian College Campus where KBC president Rev Tonglet Haokip hoisted the flag in the presence of various leaders of KBC and dedicated the conference which will culminated on November 17.Thousands of people within Kuki Baptist Convention across the North East region and some other parts of the country and abroad are attending the conference.

Rev Dr Kh Khaizakham, former Principal of Evangelical College of Theology, Churachandpur and Rev Dr HM Songate, senior Pastor of Hmar Christian Fellowship, Guwahati will be the main speakers of the conference.

Rev Dr.Thongkhosei Haokip, general secretary, KBC; Rev Letlal Haokip, liaison officer, KBC North; Rev Mangneo Haokip, pioneer, YWAM Tripura; Lhingboi Kipgen, women secretary, MBC; Seiboi Singsit, former Chairman MPSC; DP Haokip, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Indore; P Doungel, ADGP, Govt of Manipur and Lamkhoneng Haokip, former women president KBC will be the resource persons and speak on KBC Vision 2030, Mission North India, Youth with a Mission, Women's role in Ministry, Lay leaders' role in Mission, the Bible and your life, Government servant as God's servant and Widow's role in Ministry etc.

Speaking on the sideline of the inaugural session, N Sehjalien Gangte, secretary, Committee on Local Arrangement said that the Mission Conference 2019 was organized after 30 years with primary objectives to call on the missionaries and evangelist under Kuki Baptist Convention working in the State and outside and abroad such as China, Thailand, Bangkok and Myanmar to encourage young generation into the services of God's ministry.
