Sanjita's condition critical, delivers dead foetus

RIMS Hospital has provided an official update on Laishram ningol Sanjita Devi, wife of Naorem Dipak Singh of Kakwa Naorem Leikai, who was admitted to the ICU on September 12 after suffering traumatic shock when a tear gas shell landed and exploded just outside her bedroom.
According to the hospital's press release issued on Saturday, Sanjita Devi delivered a 1.5 kg dead foetus on Saturday 5:00 am after consultations with her relatives.
The foetus was handed over to her husband Naorem Dipak Singh.
Despite the delivery, Sanjita's condition remains critical.
Currently, her pulse is recorded at 119/min, blood pressure at 128/75 mmHg, and her SP02 level is at 99 per cent.
Additionally, her urine output has been measured at 1.6 litres in 24 hours.
While she continues to be on ventilator support, her blood pressure medication has been tapered.
RIMS Hospital reassured that they are providing their best efforts for her treatment with the available facilities.
The hospital also urged the public not to believe in rumours circulating about her death, confirming that Sanjita is still alive, although her condition remains critical.
