Protesters demand disclosure of Naga peace agreement while staging public alert protests and rallies in different parts of Bpr

Bishnupur, November 13 2019:
Deeply concerned with the non-disclosure of the agreed terms and conditions reached between the Government of India and Naga negotiators on October 31, this year, and extending solidarity to the protest movement initiated by Coordination Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI), different protest demonstrations were staged in different parts of Bishnupur district, today.
As part of alert vehicle rally conducted since November 11, last under the aegis of Joint Committee for Manipur Integrity Moirang Sub Division, E-Rickshaw passenger service providers of Moirang Municipal Council took out an alert vehicle rally in the surrounding areas of the council, today.

Over 150 vehicles were seen taking part in the rally.
The rally commenced from Moirang Chingei Lampak, headed towards Moirang Bazar, Sendra Chingkhong, from where a u-turn was taken and proceeded in the direction of Ngangkhalawai Advance College, after which the rallyists headed toward Moirang Chingei Lampak, where the rally was concluded.
Similar rally was also taken out by the drivers and owners of Auto RE and E-Rickshaw, which provide passenger service from Ningthoukhong to Project and within the jurisdiction of Ningthoukhong Municipal Council.
After the rally, which began from Ningthoukhong Keithel and reached different localities of Ningthoukhong Municipal Council concluded at the starting point.
The rallyists along with the women vendors and AMUCO's secretary L Thoithoi chanted many slogans like "Manipur Kaiba Yaroi"; "Manipur Imana Yaiphare", Long Live Manipur" etc.
On the other hand, endorsing the campaign initiated by COCOMI, Nachou Apunba Nupi Lup; Bishnupur Block Congress Committee; Bishnupur Block Mahila Congress Committee and Bishnupur Block Youth Congress jointly organised an alert sit-in-protest at Nachou Panthong, today.
Later, the members and volunteers of lup and congress committees along with the students of Photon School formed a human chain at Tiddim road and shouted slogans like "We strongly oppose India divisive policy", "Bring solution not problem", "No compromise on territorial integrity of Manipur", "Bring peace not piece" and "Naga Peace Talks should not hurt Manipur's interest" among others.
