Imphal, July 13 2016: Thadou Students' Association, Bengaluru (TSA-B) successfully organised its third annual meet cum freshers ' welcome 2016 yesterday at Yavanika Auditorium, State Youth Centre, Bengaluru from 4 pm to 9 pm.

The function was attended by Nemcha Kipgen, MLA of Kangpokpi AC as chief guest, James Haokip, secretary general, TSA-Ghqs as functional president, Bhaskar Rao, IPS (Addl DGP, Crime & Technical Services) as guest of honour and NA Haris, MLA of Shanthinagar, Karnataka as special guest.

Guests and dignitaries of the function were felicitated by the President, TSA-B.Special guest NA Haris in his speech urged the Thadou community in Bengaluru to learn local Kannada language and vow to help the community in all aspects.

Chief guest of the function Nemcha, who came all the way from Manipur to witness the programme, highlighted the importance of education for any kind of development and plea NA Haris, MLA to support her community living in Bengaluru.

One important mark of the function was the citation award selected amongst the entire Thadou community titled "Person of Principle" and "Person of Action" awarded to SS Haokip and ST Thangboi Kipgen.

The main events of the function were traditional cultural show, songs and dances, comedy entertainment, conveyed a press release issued by information & publicity secretary of TSA-B .
