Imphal, December 11 2017: The JAC of All Manipur DPC Completed Re-Recruitment of Police Constable 2013 K Jayenta Singh Batch (earlier known as JAC of All Manipur DPC Completed Re-Recruitment of Police Constable Male 2013 Batch) has called off its proposed indefinite bandh .

Speaking to media persons today, the JAC's president A Binoy said that the JAC called for an indefinite bandh initially because it had no knowledge that the case was pending in the Court .

Stating that the JAC has called off the proposed indefinite bandh effective immediately, Binoy also apologised to the High Court of Manipur on the JAC's behalf .

He further appealed to the State Government to refrain from taking up any legal actions against the eight individuals who were arrested by the police.
