Pre recruitment camp held

Imphal, November 10 2011:
A pre-recruitment screening camp was organised by 30 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR(South) at Nilakuti on November 8 for the aspirant candidates of forthcoming recruitment to the Armed Forces.
A press release issued by PRO, IG AR (S) stated that the camp included the pre medical screening and scrutiny of documents against the specified norms as directed by the recruitment offices.
The Officers personally scrutinize the documents of the individuals and guided them on the various aspects of the recruitment.
Prior to this pre-recruitment rally, 30 AR conducted a two weeks physical and written test training capsule for the aspirant candidates at Nilakuthi.
It further said that 139 candidates from Ukhrul were sent to Kohima to facilitate their absorption in to Army.
Meanwhile, troops of 27 AR of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) provided administrative assistance for Annual Day functions of Holy Cross High School, Kakching Khunou on November 8 .
The function included a varied cultural entertainment programs.
The highlights of the events were Manipuri traditional dances, songs and an ethnic fashion show.
Commandant 27 AR graced the occasion as Chief Guest of the event and interacted with the students.
He wished them "Good Luck and God Speed" in all their endeavors and hoped that they would contribute immensely to the society as responsible citizens, stated PRO, IG AR (S) .
