ZUF declares "Anti-circumvent abrogation"

Imphal, June 09 2022: The chairman of Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) has informed that the ZUF incorporating Zeliangrong Tiger Force (ZTF) shall no longer be party to the other faction and declared "Anti-circumvent abrogation" with immediate effect.

A release issued on Thursday by Raitu Chawang informed that a historic agreement was signed between the two factions of ZUF represented by Raitu Chawang and Jenchui Kamei on April 27, 2022 with Akhang Kamei, president ZB (AMN) and C R Zeliang, president ZB Nagaland as witness.

It also mentioned that during the meeting, both the parties had reached a substantive understanding to send 5 members each to work out all the liabilities at the earliest; keep the written document till all matters are settled and not leak the information to anyone including public, print or electronic media until then.

Raitu Chawang further alleged that the group led by Jenchui Kamei violated the deep understanding and agreed position of the historic agreement by going to the press/print and visual media with full text of the document.

"The joint declaration dated April 4, 2022 stands null and void henceforth", it concluded.
