4th Rising Day of Kangleipak Kanba Lup held

The 4th Rising Day of Kangleipak Kanba Lup (KKL) was celebrated yesterday at the head office of Jupiter Yambem Centre located at Paona Keithel.
As per a press release by KKL, the attendees of the programme resolved to lead the youths towards the right path free from intoxicants and other harmful elements and to make collective efforts to realise the vision of KKL.
The activities taken up by KKL over the past few years in the interest of the State and future activities which are underway were also discussed at length during the programme.
Reacting strongly against the disturbing elements which pose harm to the peace of the State, the Lup took stand to fight against such elements and planned for a mission to unify the native people so as to protect them.
On the occasion of its 4th Rising Day, the organisation also paid homage and recalled the contributions of its departed members of the Lup namely Late Hem Athokpam alias Taton, former vice-president and Late Wangkhemcha Chingtamlen, former advisor and observed two minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed souls.
As a part of the programme, a team of All Assam Manipuri Youths Association (AAMAYA) comprising of nine members including its Chief Advisor Ksh Kundal were feted and were presented with simple gifts to honour their significant contributions in the interest of the people of Manipur thereby conducting counter blockade against the indefinite blockade imposed by an body over the Imphal-Dimapur road.
