Thoubal, May 07 2015 : Lamp lighting, oath taking and capping ceremony for nurses who have passed out from the Female Health Workers Training School, Lamphel was held today at the school premises.

The ceremony was organized by the school Principal, teachers and students.

Director of Family Welfare Services, Government of Manipur Dr K Rajo Singh, Deputy Director of Family Welfare Services Dr Th Arunkumar and State Nursing Superintendent, JNIMS P Landhoni Devi attended the programme as the presidium members.

Speaking at the ceremonial programme, Dr K Rajo said that the role of a nurse in society is endless and every nurse should remember the contribution of Florence Nightingale.

Sacrifice should be the priority of every nurse and they should deliver their duties with sincerity and dedication.
