Meanwhile, the All Manipur Catholic Union (AMCU) has strongly condemned the act of triggering bomb blast at Little Flower School.
Such acts of violence not only threaten the school fraternity but also harm academic atmosphere, said a press release issued by the union.
"Use of violence as a means to secure an end is against the spirit of democratic society.
As a democratic society, we should settle our issues through dialogue and arbitration", it said.
Saying that use of intimidation, threat and force cannot bring about peaceful settlement to any issue, the AMCU appealed to the State authority to take pro-active actions so that the people who are responsible for the violent act are brought to justice.
It further appealed to the State Government to provide due security and surveillance to all institutes that have been subjected to such violence.
Six student bodies namely; AIMS, AMSU, DESAM, MSF, KSA and SUK too have condemned the bomb attack in the strongest term.
Unleashing such acts of violence at educational institutes is tantamount to threatening the whole society and its future, said a press issued by the six student bodies jointly.
Appealing to all concerned not to repeat such acts of violence in future, the student bodies called upon all the people to take due responsibility towards ensuring a peaceful academic atmosphere throughout the State.
