Imphal, January 05 2020: Panthoibi Housing Finance Company Ltd organised a team convention at Imperial Hall, Classic Grande yesterday.

Retired General Manager, RCP Singh, retired General Manager NABARD Sanamani Singh Yambem, Professor MIMS, MU Dr Ch Ibohal Meitei, Corporate Advisor Rahul Sharma and Chairman & Managing Director of Panthoibi Group of Companies, Thokchom Hemo Singh graced the function as the chief guest, guests of honour and president respectively.

Speaking at the function, Managing Director Thokchom Hemo said that the Reserve Bank of India has given license to a total of 9490 non-banking finance companies and only 81 companies are allowed to accept public deposit.

While these NBFCs are allowed to accept public deposit at 12.5 % rate of interest per annum, he added.

Hemo continued that Panthoibi Housing Finance Company Limited, which is a first housing Finance company in the entire North East, is registered under the National Housing Bank.
