Imphal, October 04 2013 : The 4th Foundation Day of People for Social Development (PSD) cum Micro-Credit Summit 2013 was held at Classic Hotel today.

PHED Minister I Hemochandra, former Steering Committee member of NER Vision 2020, DONER, Dr N Mohendro and NABARD Regional Officer-in-charge M Soren graced the occasion as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

Speaking at the occasion, I Hemochandra encouraged the sense of extending help among people and private companies without waiting the assistance from the Government alone.

Mentioning about his recent China and Japan visits, Hemochandra said that time is strictly valued in these countries.

Saying that every function starts in time in China and Japan, the Minister also mentioned about the need to adopt the same in Manipur as well.

Awards were also distributed to the workers who are engaged under PSD.

Various resource persons spoke at Micro-Credit Summit 2013 which was moderated by Dr n Mohendro.
