Imphal, January 04 2025: As part of the year-long birth centenary celebration of RK Maipaksana, a literary forum on "Life and works of RK Maipaksana" was held at the auditorium of DIPR in Nityaipat Chuthek, Imphal today.

The literary forum jointly organised by Sahitya Akademi and RK Maipaksana Memorial Trust, Imphal was chaired by Prof Rajen Toijamba, Convenor, Manipuri Language Advisory Board, Sahitya Akademi.

During the event, renowned critic Laishram Memo Singh, noted author Lamabam Gojendra and former IPR Director Aribam Balkrishna Sharma spoke at length about the life and Works of RK Maipaksana.

Nongmaithem Kirankumar, former convenor of Manipuri Language Advisory Board, Sahitya Akademi, delivered the keynote address emphasizing the sacrifices and contributions made by RK Maipaksana towards the society.
