RAL's NSS team participates in SHS Campaign 2024

Bishnupur, October 03 2024: The Royal Academy of Law (RAL), Oinam participated in the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2024 with a seven day cleanliness drive as part of National Service Scheme.

The drive which was kicked off from September 24 was carried out by 25 students under the guidance of Chongtham Shaibalini Devi and Chongtham Nganbi, Assistant Professors of RAL, Oinam.

The Swachhata campaign was carried out in various areas in Bishnupur district including Nambol Bazar, Khoriphaba Ching, Heritage Site at Maibam Lotpa Ching, adopted village in Shanti Bazar in Leimaram and Nambol Bus Stand on a daily basis.

The Swachh programme finally culminated with cleanliness campaign at Nambol Community Health Centre on October 3, a day after Swachh Bharat Diwas on October 2.On the culmination day, the team also carried out tree plantation drives.

Besides the Swachh campaign, the team also interacted with the villagers and local populace and educated them on the benefits of cleanliness not only at their residences, but also in the communities where they reside.
