Relief materials for landslide rescue workers flagged off

Imphal, July 03 2022: Imphal West District Police and Imphal Bazar Community came together to provide stock of relief materials to the rescue operation workers at Maramching village.

The relief materials which also included eatables were flagged off today from Kangla in the presence of Imphal West district SP Ksh Shivakanta, Addl SP (Op) and other important officials of Imphal West district.

Ksh Shivakanta said that Imphal West district Police shared in the grief of the bereaved families.

He also assured of aid of similar nature in the future.

Further, the Imphal West SP shared that many personnel of Imphal West District Police were involved in the ongoing rescue operation.

Lastly he appealed to the masses to encourage the NDRF, SDRF, Manipur Police, army and all other personnel involved in rescue efforts.
