Cabinet nods to Start-Up policy

Imphal, February 01 2018:
A Cabinet meeting held this evening with Chief Minister N Biren in the chair agreed to formulate a Start-Up policy for the State.
The Cabinet meeting also gave consent to the revised budget estimate of 2017-18 and the proposed budget for 2018-19 in the winter session of the State Assembly which commences from tomorrow.
Notably, an amount of Rs 30 crore has already been earmarked in the proposed State budget for 2018-19 to take up Start-Up projects.
The State Cabinet further gave green signal to table the Indian Forest Act (Manipur Amendment) Bill 2017 in the State Assembly.
It also agreed to keep Hotel Imphal and Sendra Tourism Infrastructure and Facilities under the care of Babina Health Care and Hospitality Industries for another six months.
The Cabinet meeting further agreed to compile a separate jail manual for the State.
