Monsang students celebrated foundation day

Imphal, August 31 2011: The Monsang Students' Union, Imphal celebrated its 17th foundation day today with a social get together under the theme 'Unity is strength.' Among others the main features of the day included the dance, Modern Lungha, TTra-TTra Maro-Moti-O dance etc.

The band Ravalican Hostel entertained the audience.

Th Oliver Monsang who attended as the chief guest held fort on the beauty of Indian democracy-Unity in Diversity and urged the students to promote justice.

President of Sirti Upa Ruh, Benithan Monsang said that unity can protect the interest of the Monsang tribe.

Dinner was served to about 300 guests.
