Imphal, October 30 2012: In connection with the upcoming one-day national seminar on 'Opportunities and Challenges of Muslims in Manipur', event host All Manipur Meitei-Pangals (Muslim) Welfare Association, Babupara is inviting seminar papers from research scholars and experts.

The December 9 seminar at DM College of Commerce Auditorium, would be organised in collaboration with DMC Commerce under the aegis of Manipur State Minorities Commission and will focus on causes and remedies for educational backwardness of the minority Muslims, economic status and means for development, and women empowerment with reference to social, educational and economic status of Muslim women in Manipur.

The abstracts/full papers on the said issues may be submitted within November 30 through e-mail [email protected] or [email protected] or by post to secretary AMMPWA, Babupara Akhtar Hussain.

It is also informed that the abstracts shall be included in the souvenir while full papers shall go to Book of proceedings, likely to be published on the day of the seminar.
