KSO for revision of school syllabus

Kuki Students' Organization (KSO), Chandel, in a joint meeting with village chiefs and Government School Head Masters/Head Mistresses held at the organisation's office at H Kotlenphai village today demanded revision of school syllabus and construction of teachers' quarters to ensure regular attendance.
The joint meeting resolved to submit an appeal to the State Government and the authorities concerned requesting revision of the present school syllabus and construction of teachers' quarters to ensure regular attendance of teachers besides providing free text books before the commencement of the session, KSO Chandel's president Doumang Haokip informed.
The president further appealed to the State Government and authorities concerned to consider the demands adopted by the students' body in the joint meeting held today.
Thangkhomang Haokip, Chairman of Kuki Chiefs' Association, Khengjoi Block said action will be taken up against teachers who do not attend school starting from the academic session 2015-16 .
While appealing to the State Government to ensure regular attendance of teachers, the Chairman of Chiefs' Association also appealed the teachers to be in their respective place of posting and attend school regularly in order to develop the education system in the district.
