Imphal, January 29 2015 :
Expressing concern over the rising trend of charging hefty tuition fees by private tuition teachers, the All Manipur Students' Guardian Organisation (AMSGO) today said a meeting would be held to discuss the matter on January 31 at Manipur Press Club.
Speaking to media persons at its office at Konung Mamang, organisation secretary of AMSGO S Sumti said that tuition teachers have opened up tuition centres merely for earning huge amount of money instead of imparting quality education to the students.
Besides overcharging the students, many tuition centres lack proper parking lot, toilets and drinking water facility, said Sumti.
Sumti said that to discuss the matter, the organisation will hold a meeting at Manipur Press Club at 11 am on January 31 and appealed to the tuition teachers, guardians to attend the meeting.
