InQuiztive: All Chandel Annual Inter-School Quiz cum Debate Competitions held

Wisecrabs - Chandel organized the second edition of 'InQuiztive' All Chandel Annual Inter-School Quiz cum Debate Competitions on July 25 and 26 at Indoor Stadium, Chandel.
The Inter-School Competition was first held in August, 2018 with an aim and objective to provide a platform for students of the district to test and improve their talent, skill, and mettle against each other.
The inaugural edition saw eight schools participating and the second edition witnessed 17 schools from all over the district competing in six competitions held over the course of two days.
Voices In Tapestry, a popular musical band regaled the audience with their performances.
HL Kankuri of Little Pearls Schools and Ts Chandengam of Koinonia Training School took home the first prizes in drawing competitions in their respective categories.
St Joseph Hr Sec School, Sugnu, emerged as the champions of the quiz competitions.
Robert Khamlianlata and Sushma Nongmaithem took home the trophy and prize money of Rs 5,000 .
In the elocution competition, Oasis Sinruwng of Anallon Christian Institute bettered Khithani Jasha of Koinonia Training School and took the 1st position.
The second day saw the first ever Spelling Bee Competitions in Chandel with over 70 enthusiastic participants.
The 1st prize in the Spelling Bee (Class III-IV category) was won by Ws Maytheri of Little Pearl's School, Chakpikarong and Ts Monahring from Koinonia Training School took the honour in Class V-VI category.
The drama competition saw Koinonia Training School and Anallon Christian Institute took the 1st and 2nd position respectively.
The debate competition witnessed nail biting final between Koinonia Training School and St Paul's High School.
Hringnigam Sr and Bs Kankhuhring of class X (Koinonia Training School ) took home the trophy and Rs 5,000 cash award.
N Madhunimai (SP), Ts Willingson (ADC Member), Willson Shongshir (FSO) and RT Joynie (makeup artist) and others attended the closing function.
