Imphal, December 27 2024:
A Two-Day Workshop, on "Implementation of Holistic Progress Card (HPC)" organised by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Government of Manipur in collaboration with National Assessment Center, PARAKH, NCERT New Delhi, concluded today at SCERT Multipurpose Hall, Lamphelpat.
The workshop was aimed at building the capacity of state level, district level, block level and school level functionaries to implement Holistic Progress Card effectively in the schools of the State.
Delivering the keynote address, Prof Indrani Bhaduri, CEO/Head NAC, PARAKH stressed on how HPC helps in transforming the landscape of assessment systems.
A Romel Singh, Director, SCERT, Government of Manipur, urged the participants to improve themselves in the area of competency-based assessment so that assessment can be more continuous & formative.
The workshop was attended by 70 participants from SCERT/DIETs and the Department of Education (S), Manipur.
Moreover, a Seven-Day National Workshop on "Environmentalism and Traditional Ecological Knowledge" concluded today at the auditorium of DM College of Arts, Dhanamanjuri University (DMU), Imphal.
The workshop was jointly organised by Academic Research Forum, DMU and School of Humanities, DMU under the sponsorship of SCERT.
