Titular king visits Kambiron village in Noney

Noney, November 26 2020: A reception programme of titular king Leisemba Sanajaoba, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) was held today at Kambiron/Puiluan Village, the Native Village of Haipou Jadonang under Nungba Sub division, Noney district.

The programme was jointly organised by BJP ST Morcha Tamenglong Dist, Yuva Morcha, BJP Tamenglong, Mahila Morcha BJP Tamenglong, Kishan Morcha BJP Tamenglong and Booth level committee.

The dignitaries visited the grave of Haipou Jadonang Graveyard and planted tree saplings there.

Ningthaodai Gonmei, general secretary ST Morcha BJP Manipur welcomed the dignitaries.

He then drew the attention of the dignitaries to recognise Kambiron & Nungao/Longkao, the native villages of Haipou Jadonang and Haipei Rani Gaidinliu as a National Heritage village and also to construct the road & infrastructure there which are in poor conditions.

Leisemba Sanajaoba expressed that he was very lucky to visit the historic birthplace of Haipou Jadonang.

He said that he will take up the necessary development programmes both in hills and valley districts.

He also assured that the Heritage site and a road leading to Haipou Jadonang grave will be repaired as soon as possible.

Cultural dance and a Thang-Ta were also performed by different artistes during the programme.

M Bharot Singh, former president BJP Manipur Pradesh; N Ibohal Singh, Adviser to Chief Minister; Y Nilmani Singh, spokesperson BJP Manipur Pradesh; Gaidon Kamei, special invitee to BJP State Executive Committee; Lanjaigai Kamei, BJP ST Morcha Manipur president; L Loteeka Devi, president Mahila Morcha Manipur; Ramkhrishna Koijam, president BJYM Manipur; J Khongsai, Vice president BJP State Morcha and H Nando Singh, senior BJP member also attended the programme.
