5th Dimki session of AZSU AMN held, resolutions taken

All Zeliangrong Students' Union Assam, Manipur & Nagaland (AZSU AMN) held its 5th Dimki Session (Assembly) at Loidram Haflong, Assam and adopted various resolutions.
A press release issued by AZSU'AMN president and vice president stated that the Dimki, after deliberation to maintain unity and integrity of Zeliangrong people, resolved to extend its fullest support Zeliangrong Baudi's (AMN) general decision that Zeliangrong family will remain united and reaffirmed the solidarity oath of the forefathers in 1934 and Keishamthong declaration of Zeliangrong as one people on August 15, 1947 .
The decision was taken on April 3 at Jalukie and joint declaration of Zelaingrong solidarity on April 1 at Chingmeirong and 8th Dimki declaration of Zeliangrong baudi (AMN) on April 11 at Makuilongdi village, Senapati, it stated.
The 5th Dimki declared the recognition of Zeliangrong family into Zeme, Limagmai & Rongmei by an order of Tatar Hoho NSCN (IM) on April 14 as 'Null and void', while resolving that the recognition/separation was done against the wishes of the Zeliangrong people without consulting the Zeliangrong apex organisations.
It also resolved to stand by the collective decision of NSCN leadership of Ato Kilonser Th Muivah and Yaruiwo Lt Isak Chishi Swu's directive and executive order of Yaruiwo on June 30, 2011 which stated, "Zeliangrong region will remain intact", should be honoured and upheld in letter and spirit.
Meanwhile, the assembly urged the leadership of NSCN (IM) Tatar Hoho to revoke its order at the earliest as demanded by Zeliangrong apex organisation in the greater interest of the Zeliangrong people and for the unity of Naga Nation.
