Thoubal, February 26 2020: As a part of its ongoing campaign to curb the menace of intoxicated drugs and substances abuse from the State, Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA) in association with Khangabok Apunba Nupi Lup organised a public discussion programme under the theme "Impact of drugs and substance abuse on society" at the community hall of Diamond Club, Khangabok Part -III Lamlong, yesterday.

The meeting was attended by Hijam Priyokumar, president, CADA; Kh Rajmohon Singh, Member, Khangabok, Zilla Parishad; Laishram Bimola, president, Apunba Nupi Lup, Khangabok; S Opendro, Pradhan, Khangabok Part II GP and Rabi Takhellambam, president, Wildlife & Biodiversity Conservation Committee, Manipur as the presidium members, said a statement of CADA.

Speaking on the occasion, Geetchandra Mangang, secretary General, CADA, urged all parents to play a major role in preventing substance abuse among youth and help their children resist the pressure to use drugs.
