Churachandpur, February 26 2017: As polling dates draw closer and election campaigns reach its peak, Church and philanthropic organisations in Churachandpur have launched massive 'clean election' drive in the district.

Large number of youths, church leaders and church members took out a rally yesterday in the streets of Lamka followed by a public meeting for a clean election led by Evangelical Baptist Convention Church.

The Evangelical Baptist Convention Church appealed to all the people and the Church leaders not to prevent anyone from voting for their desired candidate.

Churachandpur Philanthropic organisations including Young Paite Association, Young Mizo Association, Hmar Youth Association, Zou Youth Organisation, Chin Youth Association and Simte Youth Organisation also appealed to uphold Christian principles of love, peace and brotherhood.
