Tbl/Jiri, October 25 2019: A large number of womenfolk of Wangjing Keithel halted their business and took out a protest rally demanding that the ongoing peace talks should not affect the integrity of the State.

Endorsing the stand of Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI), womenfolk of Wangjing Lamding keithel and Thoubal IMA organised the protest rally around the keithel area and blocked half of the road along NH-102 in which they raised many slogans against any external force which can harm the State's integrity.

Speaking on the sideline of the protest, Thoubal IMA secretary Sanatombi said that the people of the State will not accept the agreement signed between the India Government and NSCN-IM if it affects the territorial integrity of Manipur.

She continued that the people will continue to extend support to the demand of COCOMI.

JIRIBAM: Co-ordinating Committee Jiribam on Manipur Integrity (COCJOMI) organized a protest demonstration at Jiribam during which students in large number formed human chain and raised voice for the territorial integrity of Manipur.

Speaking to the media persons on the sideline of the protest demonstration, Coordinator COCJOMI, N Dhamendra Meitei said that the final solution of the Indo-Naga talks should not affect the interest of Manipur be it the integrity, boundary, administration etc of Manipur.
