CNPO, LNC-M back Naga Solidarity Walk

Imphal, July 25 2022: Chandel Naga People's Organisation (CNPO), all its affiliated organisations and the nine tribe Hohos of undivided Chandel have fully endorsed and assured their unwavering support for the 'Naga Solidarity Walk' being organised by Global Naga Forum under the theme 'One people One Destiny' .

In a release, CNPO Publicity and Information Wing stated that the walk aims to appeal to conscience of the Nagas across the borders.

This thoughtful gesture is historic and timely with the current political status of the Nagas.

CNPO will send strong delegates to participate in the Solidarity Walk, it added, while also appealing to all the right-thinking Naga societies and individuals to come out and take part in the walk and build bridges.

Liangmai Naga Council, Manipur (LNC-M) has also declared its support to the 'Naga Solidarity Walk' of Global Naga Forum (GNF) scheduled to be held on July 28 and 29 .

In a statement, the Liangmai body said, "The greatest strength of mankind rests in steadfast unity.

Therefore, we must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools.

Now, the time has come to show our unity for the Naga cause." In this regard, LNC appealed to all the frontal organisations, youth, women, students, villages/churches leaders of Liangmai community to participate in the 'Solidarity Walk' and extend support in all forms.
