Moreh, June 25 2013: A seven day Summer Camp for the under privileged children of Moreh was jointly organised by the 'Mother Teresa Home', Moreh and 9 Assam Rifles.

The camp was inaugurated by Asha Mankotia w/o Brig Rajiv Mankotia, VSM, Commander 26 Sector AR yesterday.

The Summer Camp is aimed at giving exposure to young children towards various recreational activities which play a vital role in the overall development of the personality of a young child, the organisers said.

Asha Mankotia stated that the small but vibrant team of sisters are doing wonderful service for the needy and the under privileged children of this remote town ship.

The love and compassion of these sisters has helped transform the lives of many children.

The Missionaries of Charity as an organization have always been at the forefront of various humanitarian activities and have a profound and deep impact on many lives.

She thanked the organisation for providing the AR with the opportunity to assist in their noble deeds and assured them of all possible assistance for this event to be a mega success.
