Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam felicitated

Directorate of Tribal Affairs and Hills (TA &H) today felicitated Manipur Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam at the office of the Directorate here.
A Luikham, Additional Chief Secretary, Lunminthang Haokip, Director, TA&H, M Radharani Devi, Deputy Director, TA&H, M Kamala Devi, Undersecretary TA&H and top officials of the department were also attended the function.
T Manga Vaiphei, Chaiman, Manipur Tribal Development Corporation (MTDC) attended the function as special guest.
Gaikhangam also holds the posts of TA&H, Home, Horticulture and Soil Conservation.
Sister bodies of TA&H�Tribal Research Institute, MTDC and officials of Ashram School also took part at the felicitation programme.
Gaikhangam and Vaiphei were honoured by the department with simple gifts at the function.
Speaking on the occasion, Gaikhangam said, "Every duty assigned to us is the gift of God and we must thank Him.
We must execute our respective duties sincerely and the blessing of success will naturally come to us." The Deputy Chief Minister also pledged that he would work sincerely for the people.
MTDC Chairman T Manga Vaiphei also spoke at the function.
He asserted that Gaikhangam has become Deputy CM of Manipur because he has been working hard for the public as a true leader.
The political career of Gaikhangam shows honour and efforts, he hailed the Deputy Chief Minister.
