Commerce toppers share common aspiration: To be entrepreneurs

Thoubal, May 23 2023: Expressing her aspiration to become an entrepreneur and take the State's economy forward, Commerce stream topper Rajbrinda Naorem of Tentha Khongbal has highlighted this as the reason she opted to study Commerce.

Rajbrinda Naorem is the daughter of Naorem Henry and Naorem Ongbi Satyapriya.

The young achiever credited her parents and teachers for this monumental success and added that actualizing her mother's dream to see Rajbrinda emerge as the topper has been the most fulfilling and heart warming part of the whole experience.

Highlighting the importance of being well-educated, Rajbrinda urged the student community to spend at least some time everyday pouring over their books.

In this regard, she shared that she spends around 7/8 hours studying on school days and around 12/13 hours on holidays.

The youngster further opined that parents should support their children in the area of their interests.

Children along with their parents should jointly make decisions on the child's future, she said, while adding that children should not simply follow their parents' wishes on the matter.

Rajbindra's parents also expressed great happiness upon their daughter's momentous academic achievement.

She has plans to pursue BCom outside the State in the future.

Separately, Einstein Ningombam, who secured the 2nd rank in the Commerce stream of the Higher Secondary Examination 2023 has also credited his success to his parents and teachers.

Born to Ningombam Ranjit Singh and Tombi Devi of Thoubal Okram, Einstein Ningombam also expressed worry over the current turmoil as admission period for many institutions has ended and submission of documents has been rendered impossible due to internet ban.

Pointing out the difficulties faced by the students, he called upon the people to make efforts to restore peaceful co-existence.

The 2nd ranker also aspires to be an entrepreneur after pursuing general line at Delhi University and then getting an MBA degree.
