Anti-terrorism Day at Thoubal

The Nehru Yuva Kendra Thoubal observed the anti-terrorism day by donating blood and sensitising the mass about the dangers of terrorism.
An anti-terrorism pledge was taken by the people at Jeevan Hospital, Kakching in association with the Lions Club of Kakching, Sena Athletic Organisation, NSS unit of Kha Manipur College and SP thoubal, financed by the Manipur State Blood Transfusion Council, MACS and Dept.
of Immunohaematology and Blood Transfusion, RIMS.
Prof N Mohendro, former member of Steering Commitee, K Radhakumar Singh, IAS, Deputy Commisioner of Thoubal, P Nimai Singh, President of Lions Club, Kakching, Dr Ashok Kumar, Managing Director of Jeevan Hospital graced the function as chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.
Keynote speaker, Y Laksman Singh, district youth coordinator said that the objective of the meet was to highlight the adverse implications of terrorism on our society and to urge the youth to fight it collectively.
AK Deveshware, Consultant MACS, H Pradeep Singh, consultant youth affairs MACS, Dr Kom director SBTC spoke as resource persons.
78 individuals including 7 females donated blood at the meet.
