Thoubal, July 20 2024: A one-legal awareness programme on 'POCSO Act 2012 (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act) and JJ (Juvenile Justice) Act 2015' was held at New Public Higher Secondary School, Khangabok.

The legal awareness programme was organised by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Thoubal in collaboration with the school.

The programme was sponsored by Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA) under the aegis of National Legal Services Authority.

The event was graced by Chief Judicial Magistrate Thoubal Dr Laishram Rina Devi; Founder of the school Saikhom Gopal Singh and Principal Khundrakpam Rajmohan Singh as the presidium members.

Speaking as the resource persons, Maisnam Brojendro Luwang deliberated on JJ Act 2015 while Khoisnam Lembisana spoke on POCSO Act 2012 .
