Thoubal, November 19 2017: District Health Society and District Family Welfare Office, Thoubal jointly organised "Thoubal District Healthy Baby Show- 2017" a district level competition at Thoubal CMO's premises at Thoubal Wangmataba today.

The competition was held in three catagories� 6-11 months, 12-23 months, 24-35 months.

Altogether, 27 babies from Thoubal, Kakching and Lilong were in the competition.

Laimayum Henari of Tentha Khunou Maning Leikai, Laishram Shinthangambi Chanu of Heirok Part-II and Ningthibi Thongam of Khekman Mayai Leikai won first, second and third prizes respectively in the 6-11 months category.

Henthoi Laishram of Yairipok Bishnunaha, Takhellambam Nganba Meitei of Wangjing Wangkhei and Thokchom Amrita Devi of Heirok Part-II won the first, second and third prize respectively in the 12-23 months category. Sinthoi Khundongbam of Thoubal Wangkhem, Korounganba Luwang of Thoubal Sabantongba and Chongtham Chanthoi Devi of Arapati Maning Leikai was adjudged the prize, second and third position winners in the 24-35 months category.

The winners will represent Thoubal district in the State level competition to be held at Imphal on November 28 .

Chief Medical Officer Thoubal, Dr N Jayantakumar Singh, District Family Welfare Officer, Thoubal, Dr N Akendra Singh, District Family Welfare Officer, Kakching, Dr Ksh Memcha Devi, State Nodal Officer, Child Health SHS, Dr A Sylvia Devi and District Programme Manager, DHS, Thoubal, Ch Basanta Singh attended the event as the dignitaries.
