Imphal, June 19 2025: Collecting data of internally displaced persons (IDPs), using a dedicated portal has started.

The initiative aims to create a comprehensive database of IDPs affected by the ongoing crisis in Manipur since May 3,2023 and it will cover both categories of IDPs - those staying in relief camps and those residing at various locations outside relief camps.

According to sources, the data collection of IDPs residing in relief camps in Imphal West is nearing completion.

IDPs in Imphal West who are not residing in relief camps have been informed by the authorities to contact the authorities at 7005615137 (Lamphel), 9774927836 (Lamsang), 8794234862 (Patsoi) and 7005134486 (Wangoi) within a week's time, latest by June 25 to facilitate the capturing of their details.
